Ottawa Citadel Band Today
The Ottawa Citadel Band participates in weekly Corps worship and performs as part of special Corps events. Ensembles and the full Band participate in larger Salvation Army worship and community events, assist other churches with worship, special events and memorial services and visit Seniors’ residences to provide music and worship support.
The Band membership is maintained at between 20 and 30 musicians ranging in age from teenagers to octogenarians.
Recent special events have included:
- Corps and community Christmas Concerts
- Memorial Services at Huntley United Cemetery and Beechwood Cemetery
- Kettle Campaign Musical Support
